Overhauling Acquisition 

World Congress’ opening session will feature a can't-miss panel by the FAR Council, Karla Smith-Jackson (NASA), John Tenaglia (Defense Pricing and Contracting), and Jeff Koses (GSA). Moderated by leaders of NCMA's Acquisition Efficiency Working Group, Wes Bennett, Vice President of Contracts at Booz Allen and Soraya Correa, CEO of the National Industries for the Blind. The FAR Council will share critical insights on the FAR overhaul. This opening session will also feature remarks and welcome from NCMA leadership and an engaging kickoff from the World Congress 2025 emcees.

This jam-packed closing general session features several top-of-mind topics. Larry Allen, Associate Administrator, Office of Government-Wide Policy at the General Services Administration share his insights on the GSA procurement consolidation. Returning to NCMA’s mainstage, Bonnie Evangelista will discuss current tools available to the government to work outside the FAR through the Tradewinds marketplace and beyond.
